The Communications team of the cooperative CUSO, Xtend, works hard to drive credit union awareness and marketing initiatives to member inboxes for their client network. Year to date the Xtend Communications team has delivered over eight million emails to member inboxes. The delivery of emails has increased by one million compared to 2018 numbers for Xtend. Xtend anticipates the number of emails sent will continue to increase over the coming months, setting the stage for a record send year for 2019.

The Xtend team has also recognized an increase in print mail. The CUSO recently assisted credit unions by delivering six thousand postcards to members for various lending initiatives.

“The team strives to meet our client needs by getting their messages to members, regardless of the delivery channel,” states Jalyn Lindeman, Xtend’s Manager of Communications. “We’re continuing to improve the way we build and send emails, as well as focusing on the members who prefer a different form of communication (e.g. print-mail, phone call, etc.). By recognizing each credit union’s needs and understanding their membership preferences, we’re excited to see how we can assist in the evolution of communication and marketing strategies for credit unions in 2020.”
