Video Presence Increases Social Awareness

CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based core data processor, recently announced that there is still time for credit unions within its network to enter a submission for its 6th Annual Video Contest. Entries for Best Complete Video ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes can be submitted by May 1 for a chance to win $1,500. The CUSO added that eligible entries must come from a staff member or director at a client credit union of CU*Answers (Grand Rapids, MI), CU*NorthWest (Liberty Lake, WA), or CU*SOUTH (Fairhope, AL).

According to a recent study performed by Filene’s QUEsocial pilot program, growing active engagements among employees on social platforms is a key driver to gaining business for credit unions. Of those participating in the study more than 50 percent of participants report business wins including new members and loans, leads and expanded community reach.
