Partners complete 18-month core migration project

CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, and its partners at CUaxis, have completed the last of thirty-four core conversion projects over an eighteen-month period of time. The two CUSOs successfully transitioned thirty-four credit unions from AMIS, the core data processing system that was being sunset by MyCUServices, to CU*BASE, the flagship core data processing suite from CU*Answers. Teams from both CUSOs and the credit unions worked closely with each other and the clients to make the projects successful.

Scott Collins, EVP of National Sales and Marketplace Relationships for the CUSO said, “I couldn’t be happier with the various teammates that contributed to this exciting success story. When we first met with CUaxis, we had a tempered level of excitement about the joint venture because of the large number of projects in an aggressive timetable. But from the very first project, it was clear that our teams had a high level of synergy and that the credit unions had a high level of trust and confidence in the teams. At the end of the day, we welcomed nearly three dozen new partners and their members into our cooperative network and look forward to serving them for many years to come.”

Collins also noted that CU*Answers and CUaxis will continue to work closely moving forward, with a focus on bringing new credit unions into the CU*BASE ecosystem through a series of joint initiatives.
