Jennifer Oliver, CEO of Redondo Beach, California’s South Bay Credit Union, was recently elected to the CU*NorthWest Board of Directors.  Election results were approved by the board at their December meeting and announced to stockholders by Board Chairman Todd Powell, CEO of Spokane Firefighters Credit Union.

Oliver will serve on the data processing CUSO board from January, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2015.  She represents the first California credit union to serve on the Liberty Lake, WA-based CUSO board.

“We are looking forward to Jennifer joining us in the board room and believe she’ll be an asset to the organization,” said Powell.

“I am honored to have been elected to represent the owners of this dynamic company and look forward to its continued success,” Oliver said.

CU*NorthWest’s board meets in person five to six times a year in addition to other planning activities on both a local and national network level.  The board consists of seven members, six of whom are credit union CEO’s operating the CU*BASE^® software suite and the seventh seat is held by CU*Answers, product manufacturer of CU*BASE GOLD.
