Oak Trust to Upgrade to CU*BASE

Grand Rapids, MI – July 28th, 2011
The West Michigan-based provider of CU*BASE core data processing services has recently announced that Oak Trust Credit Union has signed Agreements to migrate to the CU*BASE core data processing system, slated for October of this year.

Oak Trust Credit Union was originally founded in 1964 as the Masters Printers Credit Union, serving the printing companies in the greater Chicago area. With expansion to Minnesota the credit union changed its name to Oak Trust, and now serves more than 10,000 members ($69M assets) from locations based in Naperville, Illinois as well as Eagan, Minnesota.

“After a lengthy and thorough evaluation and due diligence process, Oak Trust Credit Union has chosen to partner with CU*Answer to provide core data processing and member service solutions,” comments Jim Dean, Oak Trust CEO. When asked about the primary influences that aided in this decision, Dean remarks “Their collaborative approach along with recognition of the competitive challenges that credit unions face today and into the future made CU*Answers the clear choice for us.”

According to CU*Answers the credit union also plans to utilize its member share draft processing services which the CUSO performs for approximately 70 credit unions at this time.
