New partnership between CU*Answers and MY CU Services has already yielded 15 signings

In late February, CU*Answers, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, and MY CU Services, the payment and technology CUSO of Vizo Financial, announced their sales partnership to the marketplace, and it didn’t take long for the CUSOs to sign their first group of core data processing contracts. In fact, they have already secured 15 signed agreements from credit unions that will be converting to the CU*BASE core suite over the next 18 months.

Scott Collins, EVP of National Sales and Marketplace Relationships for CU*Answers said, “We are very pleased with the traction that our new partnership with MY CU Services has gotten right out of the gate. Through a series of jointly sponsored high-level overview events, we were able to showcase our CU*BASE core data processing suite to more than 180 credit union professionals from 55 credit unions being served by our friends at MY CU Services. While we knew that we were bringing a new approach to the marketplace – leveraging the strengths of a Corporate and a core technology owned by a cooperative – we also knew that credit unions were in the midst of navigating their pandemic response. The fact that fifteen have already committed to joining the CU*BASE user network during these unprecedented times helps validate that we are building something special.”

Rodney May, chief engagement officer for MY CU Services commented, “Our team has been working closely with CU*Answers to bring a creative approach and promise of a new future to the credit unions that we work with today, and the early results have been stellar. It’s obvious that the partnership we’ve cultivated with CU*Answers is bringing a much-needed solution to credit unions that they’ve wanted to see for some time – with the best of both worlds at their side to help guide their core operations. We are excited to see the already impressive response from credit unions continue as we embrace the true collaborative nature of our movement.”

The two CUSO teams will kick off conversion projects starting in September 2020.
