CU*Answers Network Services, a leading provider of managed network services, today announced that it is launching a new online service for managed clients that provides real-time visibility into daily outsourced network operations. Through an enhancement to Latitude, Network Services’ online client service portal, customers of managed network services can now access scheduled-task run sheets for monitored processes right through their web browser using their existing Latitude account.
Run sheets provide a standardized method that accounts for rote maintenance and network management tasks performed by Network Services such review of anti-virus systems, firewall and backup activity, log management, and others. Previously these run sheets were emailed monthly to clients.
“We’re really excited about this enhancement to Latitude and the ability for clients to access this information whenever they’d like as it improves their vendor oversight program,” says Matt Sawtell, AVP of Managed Technology Services. “The run sheets are stored electronically and cannot be altered by technicians. This also improves accountability and transparency of our internal processes.”
Network Services’ managed network services are independently audited to SSAE 16 standards.
