Credit Unions have been looking for ways to measure the return on social media for years. Four Wisconsin-based credit unions (Heritage CU, Fort Community CU, Prime Financial CU, and Superior Choice CU) have turned to the experts at Chatter Yak!, a marketing and advertising CUSO, to help them improve their social media efforts and prove ROI by committing to three-year contracts for Chatter Yak!’s premier social media application, Yak Tracker. Yak Tracker integrates with multiple social media channels via application programing interfaces (APIs) that gather social data, increase likes, and generate loan leads through Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. In 2014, Yak Tracker was able to help CitizensFirst Credit Union (Oshkosh, WI) generate over $2 million in consumer loans all through Facebook. The credit union was also able to track and report numbers to show actual return, which before Yak Tracker had never been done before.
