Cooperative CUSO CU*Answers recently announced that Matt Sawtell has joined the CU*Answers Sales team. Matt has over 19 years of experience in the credit union field, starting his CU*Answers career as a member of the Network Services (CNS) team. Having spent the majority of his career with CNS, Matt was vital in developing a managed technology business that today serves over 200 financial institutions nationally.

While at CNS, Matt worked alongside fellow executive Dave Wordhouse to launch in 2011 the AdvantageCIO business venture. That venture has now grown to server over 100 financial institutions nationally with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance.

Since joining the sales team in 2022 as VP of Managed Technology Sales, Matt’s expertise is realized in the areas of strategic planning, leadership development, business development, network technologies and cybersecurity.

As a member of the Sales Team, Matt is excited to represent the CNS/ACIO brands with greater focus. On the sale team, Matt will continue to develop plans that help credit unions design strategic approaches for excellence in all areas of technology. He will do this by connecting credit union executives and managers to various network technology solutions including CNS, Advantage CIO, Business Continuity and AuditLink. In addition, Matt will drive sales, strengthen partnerships, and ensure credit unions can thrive in the areas that are outside of their core competencies.
