Honor Credit Union Adopts eDOCSignature™ from eDOC Innovations to Provide Convenience to Members

CU*Answers’ Imaging Solutions team has partnered with eDOC Innovations to couple CU*BASE®, CU*Answers’ core processing software, with eDOC Innovations’ eDOCSignature™ product to provide remote signature capture at Honor Credit Union.

“This is great,” commented Deb Slavens, VP of IT at Honor CU. “We process hundreds of eSign documents a month, and with this solution we have integration between our core processing software and our document imaging solution, which allows for a seamless workflow from core to member and back. That’s important to us. It’s a member expectation these days to be able to sign documents without inconveniencing them to come into a branch and there are lots of vendors that provide eSign solutions that do that, but we love that this solution is provided by a collaborative CUSO and again integrated with our core processing software.”

John Beauchamp, CU*Answers VP of Imaging Solutions said: “The move to partner with eDOC Innovations to provide eSigning capability is as much about providing valuable services to our credit union owners as it is about getting credit unions to think about becoming online retailers. Not all members want or are able to come into the branch to sign loan forms. By giving credit unions the ability to capture that signature remotely, we speed the closing process and improve convenience for the member. And when credit unions see the response from their members, it will get them thinking about other digital strategies to improve member experience.”

eDOCSignature™ from eDOC Innovations is not only available to all CU*Answers credit unions utilizing CU*BASE but also to the national market directly from eDOC Innovations.
