Madison, WI-based Heartland Credit Union (16,600 members, $168M) has recently expanded the capability of its member document portal to include tax forms. The expanded service now provides a tax forms package to its membership, empowering members with the ability to electronically obtain relevant documents through the eDOC member portal.
“Online content delivery via the member document portal allows members to access needed information through online banking, and reduces inbound inquiry call volume to our staff. Ultimately it enables us to provide more attentive service to members in the branch while concurrently adding value to our credit union brand and overall member relationship,” says Mike Solverud, Heartland IT Manager.
The credit union went on to say that it anticipates the member portal will be expanded in the future to provide members access to all their relevant information such as receipts, ID’s, and loan documents.
