eDOC Innovations, a leading e-commerce Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) based in Vermont, has continued to grow its mobile remote deposit capture (Mobile RDC) enrollments and surpassed 2 million checks processed in 12 months. Since April 2021, 15 additional credit unions have started using the service for a total of 35 new users in 2021. There are 229 credit unions on the platform and nearly 300K active members.
“The past 18 months have shown that conducting remote transactions can be done securely, accurately, and enhance the member experience,” comments Mark Fierro, CEO of eDOC. “Even as credit unions across the country reopen for in-person service, we have not seen a decline in mobile deposit volume; we have seen the opposite. Once members and credit unions started to use the technology, they embraced it and will not return to their old habits. eDOC believes that every credit union should have this technology available to serve their current and future members. Mobile Remote Deposit is a must-have for even the smallest of credit unions.”
CheckLogic Mobile was designed and created in collaboration with one of eDOC Innovations’ CUSO owners, CU*Answers, and has provided Mobile RDC to four CUSOs nationwide. It has the flexibility to enable credit unions to define global and member-specific limits, as well as restrictive endorsement detection.
