In May of 2023, eDOC Innovations, a leading provider of innovative document management solutions, marked a significant milestone by completing a company-wide Step Challenge. The challenge saw teams of employees engaging in friendly competition to promote a healthier lifestyle while fostering team spirit and camaraderie. In recognition of the winning teams’ outstanding efforts, eDOC Innovations is proud to award the team members with additional Paid Time Off (PTO).
The Step Challenge was organized with the aim of promoting physical activity, encouraging a healthy work-life balance, and boosting employee morale. During the month-long challenge, participants embraced the opportunity to incorporate fitness into their daily routines, thereby contributing to an overall positive impact on their well-being and productivity.
Our teams walked a total of 2,246 miles (5,081,085 steps) during the month, with the winning team clocking 2,189,331 steps. Our top individual stepper, who was also part of the winning team, slogged a total of 669,133 steps for the month.
As a part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community, eDOC Innovations decided to share the joy of their achievement with local organizations that make a significant difference in the lives of others. To that end, the company generously donated $200 each to two worthy causes – Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity and the Addison County Humane Society.
“We are immensely proud of our team members for their commitment and enthusiasm during the Step Challenge,” said Mark Fierro, CEO of eDOC Innovations. “It’s heartening to witness our employees embrace a healthier lifestyle while also coming together to support those in need in our community. The donations to Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity and the Addison County Humane Society are a reflection of our collective efforts to make a positive impact on society.”
The $200 donations to Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity will contribute to their mission of building affordable housing for families in need, empowering them to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership. Similarly, the donations to the Addison County Humane Society will aid in providing shelter, care, and adoption services for homeless animals, promoting animal welfare, and responsible pet ownership.
eDOC Innovations is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and socially responsible workplace culture. Through initiatives like the Step Challenge and charitable donations, the company encourages its employees to embody the values of teamwork, health, and community involvement.
