CUSO Issues Vouchers to Help Drive Call Center Utilization

During its recent Annual Stockholder Meeting, Xtend, Inc., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, distributed vouchers for its various call center services in an effort to drive inbound and outbound activity. The “Xpand with Xtend” vouchers, which waived implementation fees and offered BOGO (buy one, get one) outbound call campaigns, were designed to complement the already aggressively priced offerings from the CUSO’s Xtension Call Center.

In commenting about the voucher program, Xtend President Scott Collins said, “We are always looking for creative ways to eliminate barriers that might keep our customer-owners from expanding their lending and member communication efforts.  And as a cooperative-minded CUSO we look for creative ways to pay it forward for our owners.  We believe the Xpand voucher program was able to do both based on the number that have been cashed in already.”

Collins continued, “Member actions have validated that they want to hear from their credit union when there is savings to be had.  Members also continue to send signals that they want to be served on their terms.  We are hoping that our Xpand with Xtend program will inspire our customer-owners to plug us in to expand their member service hours and execute targeted outbound member communication strategies.”
