CU*NorthWest, an industry leading CUSO (credit union service organization) based in Liberty Lake, WA held its’ annual Leadership Conference June 27-28 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

With plenty of “stars” coming to the event, including 75% of CU*NorthWest clients, the stage was set for the main theme of the Leadership Conference, “Everyday is a Grand Opening”. The first day of the conference was headlined by keynote speakers CU*NorthWest President and CEO Greg Smith and CU*Answers President and CEO Randy Karnes.  Both Smith and Karnes gave  in-depth presentations on the current and future direction of CU*NorthWest, new and improved software releases, strategic marketing campaigns, and most importantly, how the “Grand Opening” state of mind translates to achieving  best practice.

Day two was led by three financial industry veterans Bret Weekes, President/CEO of eDOC Innovations, Jim Vilker, NCCO certified and leader of CU*Answers Audit Link division, and Scott Collins, President at Xtend.  Each spoke about their respective services and how the surrounding environment has changed the overall business landscape. Each session gave insight on how technology plays a key role towards societal behavior, giving companies inspiration and direction towards their business products and path towards the future. Ann Joyce, VP of Operations at CU*NorthWest closed the Leadership Conference by hosting a roundtable discussion on successful credit union stories and how CU*NorthWest credit unions are taking advantage of the tools and resources of the cuasterisk.com network.

CU*NorthWest’s annual Leadership Conference is held in June each year.
