CU*NorthWest Gives Clients Leg Up on Mobile Apps

As of May 15th, CU*NorthWest is giving its clients a boost into the internet retailing marketspace. The Mobile Experience Center (MXC) – a free mobile app store – was designed to present and offer mobile applications from within CU*NorthWest’s native online banking product, It’s Me 247 as well as other external channels like Google Play.

Graphical representations of offered applications are shown in the MXC app store, giving it a similar feel to Apple or Google Play stores. Credit union clients of CU*NorthWest will be able to showcase any application of their choosing by featuring four specific apps within the main MXC page. Clients may also display an unlimited amount of “preferred” apps based on usage, member demographics, and other factors.

In the end, MXC will not only show users a selection of applications curated by the credit union, but a plethora of applications based on preferences of members or the credit union itself, allowing members many more opportunities to interface with their financial institutions, all from the convenience of their smartphones.
