CU*BASE Fraud Database Focus Group meets for first time

In late September 2019, CU*Answers Vice Presidents Keegan Daniel and Jim Vilker met with a group of over fifteen credit unions from across the country to discuss CU*BASE fraud database tools. Jim Vilker is leading the charge related to the credit union’s compliance agenda, while Keegan Daniel is leading the charge related to proving the value of credit union data. The CU*BASE fraud database toolkit was released to credit unions earlier in 2019 with the goal of providing credit unions with an opportunity to track historical fraud incidents. Keegan Daniel said: “There has never been a greater opportunity for credit unions to begin assessing historical fraud cases. CU*Answers is dedicated to working with credit unions on reducing fraud and identifying opportunities for stopping fraud altogether.”
