Tellers working on the CU*BASE platform will appreciate a new tool added to their arsenal with the recent 11.0 CU*BASE Release. According to CU*Answers, a new Deposit Calculator button is available to select when the teller needs to deposit to reach the desired cash back amount.

For example, if a member brings in a check for $465.30 and wants $26.50 in cash back, the teller simply enter the checks, clicks the Deposit Calculator button, and enters the cash back amount. After right clicking on a deposit field, users may simply select ‘Paste’ to enter the remaining funds.

CU*Answers continued to say that it hopes this new tool aids frontline staff in reducing keystrokes and speeds up the time it takes to service credit unions members.
