The West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO CU*Answers recently upgraded all of its older flash videos to a non-flash version, which means a much greater level of compatibility with different browsers and devices. The upgrade was performed on 112 online course videos. Technical Writer Amethyst Schott, one of the CU*Answers staff members responsible for video production and updates, shares her excitement about the upgrade: “Moving from flash to non-flash is a huge step forward for our video documentation. It will eliminate the frustration clients experience when they try to play a video in a browser that is not compatible with flash. It also means a much wider device compatibility so that our videos can be viewed on any device and screen size.” The videos can be found in the CU*Answers Show Me the Step Videos Series.
