CU*Answers Writing Team publishes comprehensive documentation of the Client News process

CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, data processing CUSO, recently published updated documentation of all facets of the Client News process. This process was documented by Andrew MacMillan in order to have a comprehensive resource for any current or future CU*Answers employees (more specifically, members of the Writing Team) who might assist with or take over the Client News process on a weekly basis.

Various stages of preparing and designing client news emails were covered therein, which included how to format email margins, the preferred fonts, common traits for banners and links, and more. Information on how to prepare a companion post on the CU*Answers website was also included and covered some basic tips for HTML. Additionally, this new document covered the necessary steps to access both the Online and Self-Processing mailing lists, how to add and remove clients from that list, and who to contact at CU*SOUTH and CU*NorthWest, should a Client News item apply to clients in either of their networks.

As of March 8, 2019, this document has been published to the Writing Team’s page on the CU*Answers Portal. While this list does serve as an informative reference piece to anyone who might send Client News emails in the future, it is also a document that can be updated should the Client News process evolve over time. If other members of the Writing Team were to take on the responsibilities of handling Client News in the future, this document could be edited and updated accordingly.
