CU*Answers Updates its 5300 Call Report Tool

CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is continuing to enhance and update its 5300 Call Report tool. The 5300 Call Report Tool has been available in CU*BASE® for over five years and CU*Answers continues to enhance the software and brainstorm on future projects. Since the call report is a moving target, CU*Answers has dedicated resources on staff who keep the software up to date and who review upcoming NCUA changes and their impact on the CU*BASE tools.

With the 15.0 CU*BASE Release, a handful of 5300-related reports were updated to make the process easier to complete. Enhanced functions included the Investment Maturity Report, and the Loan Maturity Report which was updated to allow selections by original term or review dates for more accurate reporting of loans in the real estate loan schedule. Lastly the system now also separates out the business and government accounts for the uninsured accounts calculation.
