CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, reached a milestone with its educational series “Tricks of the Trade.” In December, the CUSO released its twenty-fifth edition featuring Collections documentation. The series, which launched in May of 2011, provides tips on how to find information on a variety of topics. Whether it’s help for the processor’s CU*BASE^® core platform or tips on getting information on network events, CU*Answers wants to help credit unions navigate its impressive array of documentation and materials.

“We’ve placed a premium on supporting our credit unions by providing them with an assortment of documentation and educational resources,” said a CU*Answers representative. “Sometimes that information can be a bit overwhelming. Tricks of the Trade is meant to help focus their research and to help credit unions find exactly what they’re looking for. That may come in the form of links to useful tools or simply educating them on some of the resources they weren’t aware of previously.”

The twenty-fifth edition of the series provides information on collections, including where to find step-by-step instructions on managing bankruptcies, finding collections reports, and more.
