CU*Answers to implement enhanced security in March

Cooperative CUSO CU*Answers will soon be implementing enhanced network security for its CU*Spy reports server, which stores sensitive member data. “In our constant effort to safeguard client data, we are adding controls to CU*Spy to ensure the highest levels of security for our clients,” announced John Beauchamp, CU*Answers VP of Professional Services/Imaging Solutions. Coming in March, the upgraded security will help prevent unauthorized access to CU*Spy reports by adding public IP address whitelisting.

“This whitelisting will allow connectivity only from the approved Internet addresses of our clients,” explained Matt Sawtell, CU*Answers VP of Managed Technology Services. “This will provide benefit without any negative impact to the user experience. We’re always looking for additional ways to tighten security around the member data we manage for our clients and owners.”
