CU*Answers Strives for Quality in Employee Development

CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, has been encouraging employee development through their Employee Participation Program (EPP) for over 15 years. As a company they have now set their sights on providing the highest quality of training for their employees. A new program called the Trainer Certification Program was implemented to help set a standard of excellence for those employees who train EPP Courses.

This quality driven program has already certified over 50 employees and continues to add 10-15 new trainers each quarter. With topics like powerful presentations and audience engagement the Certified Trainers are strengthening their talents and skills in the classroom to offer the most relevant and engaging employee training sessions possible. “Good presentation skills are a must for most careers today and for tomorrow. It is a key indicator of our reputation as an individual and as an organization.” said Jim Lawrence, Manager of Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Services, and a Certified Trainer. CU*Answers will continue to raise the bar in Employee Development to meet the changing needs of the credit Union industry.
