For the second year in a row, CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, sponsored the Sam Saplot Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament held at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course located at the Kaneohe Marines Corps base on Oahu. The tournament, which raises money for credit union professionals to participate in Western CUNA Management School programs, was attended by more than one hundred people.
Commenting on the event, Scott Collins, EVP of National Sales and Marketplace Relationships for CU*Answers said: “We were thrilled to participate in the fund-raising outing at Kaneohe Bay for the second straight year as one its sponsors. Our cooperative is excited about helping the greater Hawaii credit unions give back to their local communities at events like this. It made it extra special that the event was attended by industry professionals from the neighboring islands as well. We are already looking forward to the 2020 event, especially since our cooperative will be celebrating its 50th year as a participant in this great industry this coming year.”
