CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, cooperative CUSO announced this week that it has added to its existing security measures iShield Security, an intrusion prevention and monitoring tool for uploading/downloading to the CU*BASE^® member database. This security enhancement is the next generation of the tool the CUSO has used to protect member data against unauthorized downloads or uploads.

“We have had great performance from the existing tool for the past decade, but it was time to upgrade to the next state of the art security system,” said Scott Page, EVP of CU*Answers. “iShield Security employs the most sophisticated intrusion prevention tools on the market today. But additionally, iShield will produce new monthly recap summaries for your auditors.
