CU*Answers promotes Kitchen page detailing big changes with the 18.03 CU*BASE® release

CU*Answers has announced big changes to the It’s Me 247 Online Banking login experience, to be implemented with the 18.03 CU*BASE release due to arrive March 11, 2018.

As of March 11, all direct login widgets 1.0 will be discontinued, to be replaced with the improved 2.0 version. These widgets, currently in use by many CU*Answers clients, allow members to start the login process for online banking directly from the credit union’s website, rather than following a link to It’s Me 247. The 2.0 widgets display both username and password in the same area, which standardizes the desktop direct login process. Credit unions are required to evaluate their type of login method, and, if using a direct login widget 1.0, make a change to their website prior to the March 11 deadline. These changes will lay foundational groundwork for further API enhancements in the 2018 year.

The Kitchen page also explores the upcoming password length changes that will be implemented on March 11. Online banking passwords will now have a character limit of 256, largely expanding from the previous limit of 10. Review the details of the announcement by visiting the Kitchen page.
