CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, recently announced that its Show Me the Steps online instructional database had grown even further. The online help provides credit unions with step-by-step instructions on how complete various tasks in the CU*BASE^® core platform. Most recently, pages were added instructing staff on how to clear a corporate check, mark draft exceptions to be deleted, and more.

Although CU*Answers already provided online help for over 2,500 screens on the CU*BASE platform, the CUSO felt that credit unions could further benefit from step-by-step instructions on some of the various tasks necessary to complete daily work. The CUSO reached out to its network of over 200 credit unions to assist in the goal of collecting instructions and the response was spectacular. In the short time the new help system has been available, credit unions have poured in tips and instructions.

We fully expect credit unions to continue contributing to the Show Me the Steps online help system, and to all the other cooperative ventures initiated by the CUSO and our credit unions.”
