CU*Answers has offered the ability to perform stop pays via its online banking product It’s Me 247 and mobile app for years. With the introduction of CU*BASE Release 21.05 (free to all credit unions on CU*BASE) enhancements have arrived. Traditionally when a member did a stop pay through the eServices option or by going to the credit union, the fee for the stop pay was the same. Now credit unions can offer a discounted fee if the member does this through the eServices platform. This new enhancement will allow credit union members to differentiate your credit union online stop pay fee from one that is initiated by your credit union. Encourage members to do it themselves by giving them a special deal online!
