CU*Answers offers educational discounts for programming classes

The Organizational Resource Development (ORD) team at CU*Answers has announced the continuation of a program that allows employees to learn RPG programming at practically no cost.

Once again this fall, CU*Answers will team with Muskegon Community College (MCC) to offer a series of four online classes in RPG (Report Program Generator) programming, which is one of the languages used in the company’s core-processing software. Full-time employees can sign up for the classes, which can be completed in as little as 18 months and receive a 100% refund on all tuition and textbook expenses upon successful completion of each class. The only expense to the student is a small technical fee.

Students take all classes online, which are constantly monitored by MCC Business and Computer Department instructors. All tests are conducted at the CU*Answers building and proctored by ORD staff. Completion of these classes is necessary for students to earn ILE RPG certification status. To date, over a dozen CU*Answers staff have taken advantage of this program, which begins new classes on August 28th.
