Education is key in the credit union industry, but how can one learn when working a busy schedule? For CU*Answers clients, Learning Cafés are the answer. The most recent event happened January 19, when host Jim Vilker, Vice President of Professional Services with AuditLink, NCCO, CAMS, spoke about applied auditor solutions to compliance issues.

“My participation in the Learning Café series revolves around teaching with a practitioner’s perspective with a laser focus on one specific operational duty,” Vilker explained. “It is the perfect venue to connect with those in the credit unions assigned to the work on which we are focusing, including best practice use of CU*BASE.”

Learning Café webinar sessions meet monthly. All releases last for 1.5 hours and discuss both trending credit union topics and new CU*BASE features based on client request. Those interested in attending can do so by registering on the CU*Answers store at least two days before the scheduled training time.
