CU*Answers recently said that as part of its CU*BASE 11.2 Release performed June 12, 2011, it has modified Check Funds Released functionality to comply with recent Reg. CC changes.

It stated that it had implemented programming to meet the new requirements of Reg. CC, which state that the next day availability of check deposits must be increased from $100.00 to $200.00. They said that its CU*BASE system now reads as “# of days for Reg. CC hold” instead of the previous “# of days to hold 1st $100.00.”

CU*Answers said this newest wording will provide greater flexibility for future changes.
