CU*Answers – Make a Connection

Select staff members of CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, cooperative data processing CUSO headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan recently attended “Get Connected”, an initiative dedicated to benefiting its clients by using knowledge transfer across the network.

Julie Gessner, Sales Administrator and “Get Connected” development manager says, “‘Get Connected’ is a collaborative venture between CU*Answers teams to connect people to products of the organization.” Various teams have been paired to develop brand specific campaigns. Each campaign consists of team awareness courses and is delivered to clients using a variety of channels including press releases, email and call campaigns. Future phases of the program are planned to include Skype, web conferences and even a long range plan to utilize a 3D conferencing solution.

Gessner says that “Get Connected” is in its infancy and expects that as the program develops clients will benefit by the ability to align their strategic needs to a person, program or service that can help them execute on that plan quickly and economically. “Get Connected” identifies with the fifth core principal of cooperatives around the world, Education, Training and Information.
