CU*Answers, data processor to over 180 credit unions nationwide, recently introduced a new training option to their clients: CU*BASE^® CTE – Custom Training Edition. CU*BASE CTE is a new alternative to the shared simulated training environment, Bedrock Community Credit Union, currently used by all CU*Answers online clients. CTE offers credit union staff the opportunity to train on the CU*Answers core-processing software, CU*BASE, in an environment that mirrors their live environment, thereby easing the transition from training to going live on the software. CU*BASE CTE gives credit union staff a safe place to practice using the software tools, without the potential to harm live member data, and because it’s a copy of the credit union’s actual files, both the product configurations and member accounts will be familiar to trainees and will behave like they do in their day-to-day environment.
