CU*Answers Imaging Solutions 19.03 release improves credit union’s internet retailer capability

The CU*Answers Imaging Solutions team announced it will release its 19.03 version on March 18, 2019. This release is packed with features to assist credit unions become internet retailers with their members. Most notably, the Imaging Solutions team has partnered with eDOC Innovations to make eDOCSignature™, eDOC’s remote signature capture product, more useful by including “reference” and “requested” documents features. The reference document feature allows a credit union to provide a document for reference such as a disclosure as a part of an eSigning event. The requested document feature can request from the member items such as a PhotoID or a pay stub. These features can be used as a part of an eSigning event or separately to provide or request a document, eliminating trips to the credit union and improving the ability to get business done remotely as an internet retailer.

Also, in partnership with eDOC Innovations, are two features related to Remote Deposit Capture or RDC. The first is to allow for very quick posting of deposited checks that pass business rules. That feature is called RDC-IQ or “It’s Quick!”. Typically, it will take just a few seconds for the member to see the deposited check in their account. The second is an elective feature provided by eDOC Innovations called restrictive endorsement. This feature detects specific text to mitigate risk of the mobile deposit becoming subject to subsequent claims by physical deposit.
