On December 8, the CU*Answers Imaging Solutions team hosted a “Conversations On…” event to discuss ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) authentication methods. “Conversations On…” is a new way for CU*Answers’ credit unions to interact with the CUSO and their peers. This new series of events hosted by CU*Answers will take traditional focus groups to a whole new level. As the name implies, these will be conversations on specific topics: credit union core disciplines, tools for members and employees, and the current hot topics that people are buzzing about.

The Conversations on ITMs event was well attended with 71 registered attendees from credit unions all over the country. Discussion revolved around what authentication methods credit unions have seen in the marketplace for utilizing this technology, which methods various hardware manufacturers support, how credit unions felt about the security of the various methods and which methods they wish their CUSO would support with their integration to the hardware.
