Last week, CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, was one of the sponsors of the inaugural CU-Tomorrow conference that was held in Austin, Texas. The conference was organized and hosted by the well-known industry collaborators at CU Today.
Scott Collins, EVP of National Sales and Marketplace Development for CU*Answers commented, “When Frank Diekmann from CU Today told us he was organizing an event that was a throwback to a more traditional ‘credit unions helping credit unions’ agenda we were excited to participate as one of the sponsors. As a cooperative, we have long felt that our industry’s survival is directly proportional to the level of peer-to-peer collaboration between all industry stakeholders, and it was clear that CU-Tomorrow had a goal to foster that dialogue.”
Collins continued, “Kudos to Frank and his team for this inaugural event. It was well attended, had a good variety of speakers and topics, and allocated an appropriate amount of time for interaction between the attendees and speakers. I am confident that next year’s event will include some success stories that were incubated during the inaugural conference.”
The conference took place September 9th through 11th at the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin.
