Executives at CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative data processing CUSO headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, met recently to review new concepts submitted by associates as part of the Be An Innovator Program, native to CU*Answers.

Randy Karnes, CEO at CU*Answers said about the group, “The innovators group at CU*Answers is designed to challenge to our corporate designs for innovation. We value it as a volunteer-employee-challenge to the ways we drive change in our network. It takes practices to put ideas out there, to challenge the entrenched, and to lead in bringing those ideas to market both internally and externally, and the innovators group derived from the need to build that experience within the CU*Answers community.”

A CU*Answers representative added that three ideas were submitted to the Executive Committee at its latest meeting ranging from new internet based businesses, CU*BASE^® Reporting feature enhancements, and wellness programs. Employees with approved concepts will move on to the next phase of development.
