Cooperative CUSO and core data processor, CU*Answers, is upgrading its lending platform to now provide lending team members the ability to receive an email whenever an underwriting code is changed on a pending loan application within the CU*BASE^® core processing system. Underwriters can be notified when there’s something to approve and lenders can be “Jonny-on-the-Spot” to give members the good news once the approval comes through. Credit unions choose which underwriting codes prompt the notification, and to which email address they are sent.

This lending email notification was developed via the CU*Answers “Submit an Idea” link which is located right in the CU*BASE core system for all credit union staff members to access easily and for CU*Answers to receive best practice and upgrade ideas for how to improve the platform. This is just one more example of how CU*Answers partners with its credit unions to consistently improve the CU*BASE core system and how CU*Answers is a truly cooperative CUSO that partners with its credit union customer-owners.
