CU*Answers enhances Courtesy Pay (automated non-returns) fee

CU*Answers has enhanced its CU*BASE data processing system to control the Courtesy Pay fees for members by transaction activity origin or delivery channel. With its most recent release a credit union can  charge a different fee if the transaction comes via an EFT channel verses if the transaction comes in as an overdrawn check. Additionally, the credit union can configure the CU*BASE system to charge a fee only if the transaction is over a specific amount, thereby eliminating those charges on a cup of coffee that have often been the talking point against these types of fees.
