CU*Answers, the West-Michigan based cooperative CUSO, invited clients to attend the first Member Services day. Fifty people attended the first training session this year on January 19th. Lani Lowing, Education Team Lead stated, “This four-hour collaborative course combining different pieces of the member service responsibilities, like open and closing memberships and maintenance, is a great opportunity for credit union team members, whether they are a new team member or have been with the credit union for years.”
Holly Hunter, from Parkside Credit Union, who attended the training stated, “I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Member Services Training Day hosted by CU*Answers. As the training manager of my credit union, this was a great opportunity for me to learn about some of the many tools and services available within CU*BASE. The webinar offered detailed explanations of various tools such as My Preferences, Phone Operator, Member Account Adjustment (coded), Member Personal Banker, and more. The trainer walked us through the processes of both opening a new membership as well as closing a membership. Being able to visually see the whole process step by step is invaluable for new staff members to better wrap their arms around these concepts. Overall, the webinar is very beneficial both for my new hire staff that are just beginning to learn the GOLD system, as well as longer term team members to further their development.”
