CU*Answers, the West-Michigan based cooperative CUSO, invited clients to attend the first Teller/Member Services day, a 4-hour web conference training course covering topics including teller processing, member services, and teller balancing research. Sixty-seven people attended the first training session for this new offering which will be held six times per year. Lani Lowing, Education Team Lead stated, “This collaborative course between teller and member service is a great opportunity for credit union team members, whether they are a new team member or have been with the credit union for years.”
Lani further elaborated by stating, “Combining these types of topics together offers comprehensive training for both team members new to the credit union or those who need to brush up on their skills.”
Account Executive Monica Boguszewski, trainer of the course, stated, “It was great to see a large turnout for a new course offering. Offering this new course will be beneficial to our clients as they take on new team members throughout the year.” Keri Panek from SPE Federal Credit Union added, “It was very nice being able to see these things done rather than just reading about them.”
