CU*Answers Conducts Board Member Vote Electronically

CU*Answers is walking the walk by conducting its board member election electronically. As an owner in eDOC Innovations, a core image processing CUSO based out of Middlebury VT, CU*Answers partners with eDOC Innovations to provide core image processing solutions to credit unions of all sizes. Therefore, it’s only natural that CU*Answers leverages these same solutions for their own internal use. This year for the first time ever, CU*Answers is using their internal corporate eDOC Innovations solution to conduct their board election electronically. This is the same technology credit unions are using today to remotely close loans, open memberships and allow members to sign documents anywhere in the world at any time that is convenient to the member without the need for the member to visit a branch.

“This is great technology and I’m excited to be using it in this capacity,” explains John Beauchamp electronic document strategies manager at CU*Answers. He went on to say, “We’ve been helping credit unions and their members enjoy the benefits of electronic document signing for some time now. However, now we’re equally excited to be bringing these same conveniences to our credit union owners as it applies to our board election. It’s been a great experience for us to use the products we promote and it helps us to better understand our solutions through the eyes of the end user.”
