CU*Answers Board ratifies 2020 business plan

At its recent board planning session, the board of CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, ratified the cooperative’s 2020 business plan for its fiscal year starting on October 1st. The planning session was hosted by Frankenmuth Credit Union.

In commenting on the event, Scott Collins, EVP of National Sales and Marketplace Relationships for CU*Answers said: “Our August Board Planning Session always sets the stage for not only the coming year – which kicks off with the ratification of our 2020 business plan and budget – but also marks the beginning of our 2021 planning calendar. In the 2020 business plan, Randy (CU*Answers CEO Randy Karnes) did an excellent job of outlining our plan of attack for the coming year and the investments we plan to make from a project, people and places standpoint. Since we will celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2020, the theme for this year’s plan is ‘Building a Launch Pad for the Future’ as a foundation for the next 50 years of our cooperative.”

Collins concluded, “I know that the CUSO’s Executive Team left Frankenmuth re-invigorated and ready to hit the ground running in 2020. And kudos to Vickie (Frankenmuth CU CEO Vickie Schmitzer) and her team for their tremendous hospitality.”
