CU*Answers, the 100% credit-union owned cooperative, recently announced the start of the 2021 Debit Card contest. Contests are run quarterly for a two-month period as a way of gathering member email addresses or increasing enrollment in credit union services such as e-statements, bill pay, and debit cards. Contest enrollment is free to all CU*Answers credit unions with an optional full collateral print package for an additional charge. The contest prize is supplied by CU*Answers; however, credit unions may purchase an exclusive prize to ensure their credit union has a winner.

The Bill Pay contest will run July 1 – August 31 with a winner drawn the first week of September. The contest prize this year is a 55” 4K TV! 76 credit unions are participating in the Bill Pay contest, with a handful of credit unions opting to have their own winner pulled vs the overall contest winner. The free contests are a popular way to pull in interest from members and an easy way to gain interest in great credit union services.
