Cooperative CUSO CU*Answers recently announced an enhancement to card number generation during the ordering process. The 21.10 release of the CU*BASE core platform now supports full card number randomization and expiration date randomization. Credit unions have been expressing their enthusiasm for card and expiration date randomization and the benefits it offers in combating card related fraud. “This will be a great enhancement to help mitigate brute force bin attacks from occurring in the future,” says Nicole Cooper, SettleMINT EFT Team Lead.
