CU*Answers, the cooperative CUSO headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, confirmed that it has started a multi-day consultative workshop with Executives from the IBM Lab in Rochester, Minnesota. Over a three-day period, various team members from CU*Answers will be joined by experts from IBM as part of the CUSO’s strategic planning process. With the IBM Executive Briefing Center still in a ‘Remote-Only’ mode, the sessions will be executed as video conferences.
Scott Collins, CU*Answers Executive Vice President of National Sales and Marketplace Relationships said, “As part of our strategic planning processes, we work closely with our key business partners like IBM. Although this year’s Executive Briefing sessions are taking place as teleconferences, we felt it was important to keep the dates on the calendar that we had locked in earlier this summer rather than wait, and hope, for an in-person event at some point in 2022. IBM’s foundational technology has always been a fundamental part of the value proposition that we bring to bear for more than three hundred credit unions across the country, so these periodic briefings are incredibly important for many of our teams and our ongoing investment. We are excited about the brainstorming that will take place this week.”
Collins noted that CU*Answers has been an IBM Business Partner for more than two decades. “Our IBM partnership is one of those relationships that we feel has been a part of tremendous growth and success over the past two decades. We are confident that this week will help set the stage for many more years as partners,” said Collins.
