CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, is adding the capability for credit unions to pay their vendors via ACH in the accounts payable functionality of CU*BASE^®. In the past, CU*BASE has handled all accounts payable payments via a printed check. Now, if a credit union has a relationship with Magic-Wrighter, they can configure certain vendors to receive payment directly via ACH if they wish.

“This is a quality of life improvement for all our credit unions’ accounting departments,” said Scott Collins, EVP of national sales and marketplace relationships. “Now, instead of spending valuable time on cutting and mailing checks, those teams will have more time to spend on new initiatives.” The enhanced functionality comes as part of the CUSO’s free 17.10 release to the core processing platform.
