CU*Answers recently announced that its Developer’s Help Desk (DHD) had completed 95 custom projects during the first half of their 2022 fiscal year, including many 3rd party vendor integrations. Two of these vendor integrations included Kasasa and CUMA.
Kasasa is a financial technology and marketing services company that provides the first ever loan with take-backs. CU*Answers has developed an OTB (off trial balance) strategy to facilitate staff/ members to view and make payments to their Kasasa loans while utilizing the CU*BASE processing system. CU*Answers also receives and processes a GL interface file from Kasasa to eliminate manual entries by back-office staff.
With CUMA, CU*Answers has developed an OTB (off trial balance) file exchange for staff/ members to view and make payments to their CUMA loans while in the CU*BASE core system and online banking.
The DHD team is constantly adding new third-party vendor integrations to its suite of CU*BASE services. Clients may place orders for these integrations via the DHD Online Store, which features 300+ software products and services. The DHD is designed to provide a unique opportunity to clients and vendors when considering a new custom software strategy, and that these 3rd party integrations are normally a direct result of a specific client request for a targeted vendor solution.
