Collaboration—An Ingredient of Being Informed!

CU*Answers, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO announced its commitment to keeping every credit union utilizing its CU*BASE® processing system openly informed of project development.

A CU*Answers spokesperson said, “We have a lot cooking in the CU*Answers Kitchen, a site dedicated to upcoming programming projects, and are thrilled that credit unions utilizing the CU*BASE platform desire to participate with us at all levels of software development.” CU*Answers emphasized that through collaboration during all development cycles the CUSO is able to understand the needs of its clients and meet or exceed their expectations. Additionally credit unions utilizing the platform benefit with material differences in their own business planning processes.

CU*Answers demonstrates its commitment to development by using a layered approach for keeping every CU*BASE client informed on the status of projects. These strategies include: event driven “Big Picture” conferences, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies, project release planning and implementation schedules, electronic tools for credit unions to “Monitor” progress of initiatives, published release documents and accessible training, and live interaction and networking as part of the active beta test study group.
